Like many of you coming to this site, I've had a special place in my heart for Starsky & Hutch since it aired in the mid- to late 1970s. I realize there are other sites online honoring these two cowboy cops, but I wanted to do something myself, given that I'm a professional graphics and web site designer by trade — and a big fan of the show. It seemed like a fitting combination.
I would be remiss not to invite you to contribute video clips, video captures, and photographs (or any other information) to this site so that it becomes a sort of one-stop place where fans around the world can further enjoy Starsky & Hutch, as well as communicate and share them with each other. The release by the studios of all four seasons of Starsky & Hutch has created a renewal of interest in these boys and enabled dedicated fans to relive the special memories and moments they gave us. By creating this site, I'm attempting to pay them back for the light they gave me personally at a time when I needed it most all those years ago.
No copyright infringement is intended. I do not own any of the video or photographs represented on this site. It is merely something I've put together for the fun of enjoying Starsky & Hutch, Paul Michael Glaser, David Soul, Antonio Fargas and Bernie Hamilton, as well as the other actors and individuals who gave us such a wonderful gift by producing this series.
I have spent HOURS (and lots of money, too) pulling video captures and scanning photographs so I can bring you the biggest, best, baddest Starsky & Hutch site online. Enjoy my efforts to your heart's delight. All I ask is that you don't take my work and profit from it by selling it on eBay or elsewhere. Like I said, this site was created from my heart and it would be unethical, in my opinion, for anyone to monetarily profit off all the work I've put into it. Thank you.
So please browse knowing there is much more to come (there is a lot of Starsky & Hutch to catch up on!). As I create more clips and captures, I'll post them on the What's New page. You may also sign The Guestbook. Please free to join the Fan Forum, too, where fans can share and discuss the show — and especially the men who gave Starsky & Hutch their heart and (pardon the pun) their soul. |
